The video is pretty convincing. But obviously nonsense, as it would be too much for even such a smart thing as iPhone. If it was, it would be by no doubt a best seller But I do not think it would be legal in any way to have or use this app.
BTW: Sony sold over 400.000 units of the x-ray Handycam in the United States after they said it could see through clothing in bright daylight. But the quality of this x-rayed pic was not even close to that one in this app. But of course the capabilities of sony camera is much more powerful then iPhone camera.
So, yeah, enjoy the video and dream on!

1. www.donotcall.gov – this is a national do not call directory. Try registering your phone number and home there to stop telemarketers calling you.
2. www.reversephonelookup.us – this is a commercial regular and cell phone numbers directory. Can be used to frighten the telemarketers.
3. Cell Phone Lookup – the same as above but the database source is different. Try searching there and there.
Also you can try finding some mobile applications for the same purpose. I’m sure there are some, and I’m a bit lazy to do this

Answer
Generally jail breaking an iPhone means removing phone attachment from any service provider like AT&T and manufacturer, which is Apple as you can guess. This will allow you to install any third party software or even switch over to another mobile carrier, which means unlocking your phone.
Cons?
Sure. You can’t just benefit without losing anything. All jail breaking apps/software are unauthorized and therefore they do not gurantee you anything and can damage your phone. And…also you will lose your warranty so that you will not be able to get your phone repaired after unsuccessful jailbreaking.
Pros?

with this 1 dollar phone you not only get a phone, but also a contract signed for a certain period of time. Lets say, that one year you will be using a service fom a particular cell operator and will pay for his services and generating profits to him.
